Giants DT Shaun Rogers robbed of $500K in jewelry by groupies he took home after Club Liv

The life of a baller; you hit up Club Liv on a Sunday night while you’re in Miami. You’re at your table spitting up champagne and vodka with the new lady friends you acquired, when they spotted your table overflowing with libations. She gives you “the look” when she spots the way the spotlight makes your diamonds gleam and glisten. The party isn’t over when the DJ stops spinning. What’s next? The hotel room of course. And if you happen to actually be STAYING at the Fontainebleau, how hard is it to ask the ladies to come up to the room for a quick second.

That adventure could lead to the sort of problems experienced by New York Giants DT, Shaun Rogers. Rogers reportedly was robbed of a half million in jewelry and cash by some ladies he took back to the room following a night at Liv. Check the details:

Rogers told Miami Beach Police he put his valuables in the room safe when he returned around 7 a.m. and the party continued until the nose tackle fell asleep. According to police, Rogers said at 12:30 p.m., he awoke and found the woman the group had met the night before was no longer there.

Once he realized the woman wasn’t there, Rogers told police he tried unsuccessfully to get into the room’s safe. Hotel security then came to the room and was able to pry open the safe and found Rogers’ valuables were missing.

Among the items Rogers said were stolen were: diamond earrings worth $100,000; two wristwatches worth a combined $160,000; a gold necklace with gold pendant worth $50,000; gold bracelets worth $60,000; and a diamond Cuban necklace with a gold pendant worth $70,000.

I hope he at least got the panties for his trouble. That’s an expensive “adventure.” Hope it was worth it. I wonder if he actually closed the safe and locked it? I’d be willing to guess he just put the items IN the safe. You think he happened to just come across a safe cracking “starpanties?” Doubtful.
