Former MLB player Milton Bradley has been sentenced to three years in jail and 5 years probation stemming from his conviction of four counts of assault against his estranged wife. Bradley swung a bat at his wife and, threatened her with a gun. Bradley was convicted in June. His sentence will also require anger management classes.
According to the LA Daily News’ Susan Abram, Bradley said in a statement to the court that he’s never harmed anyone, but admits he has anger issues. He told reporters after his sentence that he has a lot of respect for the judge and courts.
