Former Blazer Cliff Robinson Opening Weed Business

The Pacific NorthWest area of America has long been applauded for its quality weed. Who would know more about that than a former member of the Portland Trailblazers with a history of blazing.

With the legalization of marijuana spreading to various states, its only natural that higher profile individuals are getting in on the business side.

Former NBA All-Star and 18-year NBA veteran Cliff Robinson is getting in the medicinal weed biz.

According to the Portland Business Journal, Robinson Along with a set of business partners plans to open a grow operation in Oregon. He’s hoping to have product ready by the end of the year.

Robinson believes that a large portion of both professional football and basketball players use weed. He’s an advocate of weed for pain management:

“Cannabis is definitely a more positive alternative to pharmaceuticals at the end of the day,” he said. “Those are synthetics. I’m talking about something that’s natural that can bring the outcomes you’re looking for, be it for muscle tension or relaxation or preparedness. There are a whole lot of different things that are beneficial.”
