I know it seems as if being the loved one of a professional athlete is all private jets and shopping sprees. But, there have been a few situations that have popped up lately that should have ladies rethinking that goal if that’s all they have in mind as a life plan.
Our next example of the good life gone wrong, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his ex-fiance, Shantel Jackson. The couple was rumored to have split a couple of months ago and Shantel has kept a pretty low profile.
Last week Floyd’s ex-BFF 50 Cent began posting Instagram photos about a welcome to LA/birthday party for Shantel. That seemed odd because clearly fiddy and Money May weren’t on great terms. The instagram photos have since been deleted but I did manage to find one Tweet he forgot to get rid of.
@msjackson I’m coming I know you gonna have some fly shit on.#smsaudio https://t.co/QLggw68MaI

Fast forward to this week, and Floyd announces on Instagram that he’s launching a new women’s “accessories” venture in collaboration with Ms. Jackson. But if you look at the photos, all the items seem to be gently used pieces that look as if they were recently in Shantel’s giant closet she showed off a few months ago on Instagram. That photo spree was to throw shots at Floyd’s baby’s mama, Josie Harris, who just a short while before, posted a photo of Floyd asleep in her bed.
I guess Floyd believes in what’s mine is mine. Or better yet, you hit the door with exactly the same items you walked through it with.
