Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s Baby’s Mother Suing Him For $20 Million

Saturday night after Floyd Mayweather Jr. beat Manny Pacquiao, he was handed a $100 million check. If the lawsuit filed by Josie Harris, mother of three of his four children, goes through, he’ll be down $20 million.

Harris has filed a defamation lawsuit against Mayweather over an interview with Katie Couric. In the interview, Mayweather said Harris was drunk and high the night of the domestic violence incident that took place in 2010.  He claimed he restrained her, not assaulted. Floyd served two months in jail after taking a plea deal on the charge.

Harris says she is now labeled a drug addict thanks to Mayweather’s lies — and was embarrassed and humiliated on a global scale.

Her lawyer, Dan Friedlander, writes in the lawsuit — Floyd’s lies to Couric “were knowingly fabricated in order to hype Mayweather’s upcoming fight with Pacquiao, to avoid bad press by deflecting responsibility for beating the mother of his children.”

I wonder if it will come up that Floyd made this same allegation in 2013. Harris also has a book coming out soon on her time with Floyd.
