Ex-NFL QB Vince Young settles lawsuit against former financial adviser

Ex NFL QB Vince Young has reached a settlement in his lawsuit against his former financial adviser and former agent.

The settlement was reached late Friday in Young’s suit against Ronnie Peoples and Peoples Financial Services, based in Raleigh, N.C., and against Major Adams II, Young’s former agent.

Young’s attorney, Trey Dolezal of Austin, said terms of the settlement were confidential but added, “Vince is ecstatic to have this out of the way so he can pursue his football career.”

Peoples’ attorney, David Chaumette said there is no admission of liability in the settlement and that “the parties at some point or another may end up working together on projects of some kind. That has been left open. … We are going to work together and make sure people are treated the way they need to be treated.”

Young is still without an NFL team after spending preseason with the Green Bay Packers
