Ex-NFL player Sam Hurd tried to buy 200 lbs of Weed & 5 Kilos of Cocaine while on bail

Former NFL player Sam Hurd must want to spend the rest of his natural life in jail. What other explanation is there for a man out on bail for drug trafficking to purchase more drugs to sell?

Hurd, according to a recent profile in the Chicago Tribune, tested positive twice for marijuana while free on bail pending his trial on federal drug trafficking charges.

He also allegedly purchased 30 pounds of marijuana while on bail, and then allegedly tried to buy another 200 pounds of marijuana, along with five kilograms of cocaine.
