How fitting that three guys involved in one of my FAVORITE TV shows are a part of a group that is looking to purchase the New York Mets.
Doug Ellin(Executive Producer), Kevin Dillon(Johnny Drama), and Kevin Connolly(E.) are apart of a group that have an interest in purchasing the team.
Also included in the group are actor Ed Burns, Steven Starker, a co-founder of BTIG, a global trading firm; Kenny Dichter, a co-founder of airline Marquis Jets; and Randy Frankel, a minority owner of the Tampa Bay Rays. who says the crew can’t come up on their own!
No word yet as to if the group is in actual negotiations with team owners but they have been approved by the MLB to bid on a stake.
Hope this serves as an inspiration for professional friends everywhere! You two can become a business entity all your own no matter if you’re E or Maverick Carter!
