If you thought Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade and his ex-wife, Siohvaughn Funches had finally figured out how to coexist and so-parent in peace, you’d be wrong.
This time the drama surrounds their two sons, Zion and Zaire, spring break activities. Siohvaughn has recently moved to Atlanta. If you recall, her Chicago mansion ended up in foreclosure because of the divorce proceedings dragging out for years. The home is currently on the market to be sold. The divorce though techincailly finalized in 2013, is still being contested by Siohvaughn and has been ongoing since 2007, at a cost of $10 million to DWade.
With Spring break fast approaching for the boys – it starts Friday, March 20th – Sio wants the kids to come to Atlanta for their spring break visitation. According to documents filed, DWade wants the boys visit to take place in Illinois.
Siohvaughn has dubbed Wade’s request an “unreasonable demand” meant to deny Funches is “simply another attempt to alienate the children and deny the Mother her timesharing.”
Siouhvaughn is permitted to travel with the boys as per the custody agreement. She also let Dwyane know about the desired location for spring break within the allotted time as mandated by the court.
