Even parents of adult children can get overzealous when it comes to their kids and sporting competitions. On Wednesday night the Heat faced off against the Chicago Bulls- minus an injured Derrick Rose – at the United Center in Chicago. Heat star Dwyane Wade is from Chi-town and went to high school about 20 miles from the arena.
Apparently DWade’s dad, Dwyane Wade Sr. was really into the game which the Heat lost 106-102. The Wade Sr. was ejected from the venue for using profanity. United Center has a strict policy on profanity in an effort to perserve a “family environment.”
Per ESPN:
As for Baby boy Wade, he ended the evening with 36 points on a night where John Lucas III was the star performer, and not from being jumped over for a dunk like the last time these two teams faced off against each other. The guard scored 24-points.
