Dwyane Wade gives Gabrielle Union a ring for her birthday [photos]

For most NBA teams that win a Championship, it’s not just the players and coaches that receive a ring. Executives, key members of the organization and significant others get rings also. Remember last season following the Heat receiving their rings, LeBron James and his wife- then fiancé, Savannah James along with Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union proudly posed with their new hardware.

In 2013, ring night just happened to fall on Gabrielle Union’s 41st birthday. The Heat were headed out to Philly following their win over the Bulls and Gabby was having a mini-birthday celebration at Hyde inside American Airlines Arena. Per Page Six, DWade popped by to surprise Gabrielle with a gift for her birthday.

“Wade walked in with a gift-wrapped box, opened it with her and put it on her finger,” a source told us.

Wade recently mentioned that the couple broke up for a bit last season. With all the birthday proposals that have happened in the past week- Kim Kardashian and Kanye plus Ciara and rapper Future, I don’t know if that’s the type of ring Gabrielle was expecting.
