Dwyane Wade & Gabrielle Union’s $5 Million Wedding [Photos]

Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade and actress Gabrielle Union married on Saturday, August 30th. Although guests weren’t allowed to bring their cel phones and cameras to the nuptials, and there were rumored to be confidentiality agreements signed by those involved, a few details were leaked.

The couple was married at the Chateau Artisan Miami. A 14 acre-castle which sits on a private lake and royal gardens.
There were about 200 wedding guests, which included DWade’s Heat teammates, Chris Bosh and Udonis Haslem. Former teammates, Ray Allen and LeBron James. NBA stars Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony. Miami Heat owner Micky Arison. Plus comedian Kevin Hart and his fiancée Eniko Parrish rapper Ludacris and more.
Gabrielle’s wedding dress and second look of the evening was designed by Dennis Basso. The men in attendance were given a special bowtie by Dwyane Wade from his Tie Bar collection, while the women were asked to wear all white.
John Legend serenaded the couple and Guy is rumored to have performed at the reception.

Gossip Extra got the scoop:

Dwyane Wade spent $5 million on the wedding weekend.

The theme: Old Florida juke joint — and the decor has plenty of Heat references and even live chicken!

[Gossip Extra obtained a copy of the detailed wedding schedule. It shows that organizers were so paranoid to let the cat out of the bag during the months of planning that the paperwork is under the headline: The wedding of Sheik Noinu Edaw. That’s Union Wade spelled backwards!]

Guests were picked up by several fancy buses at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach at 3pm. Most guests had no idea where they where going during the 45 minute drive. The wedding was held at Chateau Artisan, a $13 million-mansion built by local architect Charles Sieger to look like a castle.

Friday evening the rehearsal dinner took place at Prime 112 and then the couple and friends went out and partied a bit. The couple that parties together stays together.
