FSU dismissed back up QB De’Andre Johnson following the release of video footage of the underage Johnson hitting a woman in the face at a Tallahassee bar. Tuesday morning, Johnson sat down with his mother and Michael Strahan on ABC’s Good Morning America to discuss the incident that lead to his dismissal from the team.
“There’s no explanation for that. I totally should have walked away. I am ashamed of that. I’m sorry. I apologize to the lady in the incident, to her family, to my family, to my mother. I know I wasn’t raised that way. If I could do it all over again, I would.”
