The altercation that took place between Cowboys WR Dez Bryant and his mother Angela last week will remain a mystery if Angela has anything to say about it. Angela is refusing to cooperate with police and has declined to press charges.
Angela held a press conference today (Tuesday) that both she and Dez attended however, neither spoke, only her attorney. Royce West read a statement calling any dispute;
“a family matter that can be worked out through counseling.”
“They ask that there not be a rush to judgment concerning their family,” West said.
“I would love to make a statement, but I can’t,” Dez Bryant said as he left. “I can’t.”
Dez is still being charged with misdemeanor assault-family violence. In the original police report Angela Bryant stated she was hit in the face with his baseball cap, that her hair was pulled, he tore her shirt and bra and repeatedly hit her hands and wrists while she tried to defend herself.
