DeWanda Wise On Having An Action Star Mentor in Jurassic World Dominion

DeWanda Wise can now add action hero to her resume. The actor recently dominated the screen in the role of Kayla Watts in the latest film of the Jurassic film series, “Jurassic World Dominion.”

Wise participated in a roundtable discussion with the African American Film Critics Association about taking on the role of Kayla, the impact of that representation on screen, and what it’s like to train for such a physical role.
