DeSean Jackson gets the franchise tag from the Eagles and raps with Gillie Da Kid [video]

DeSean Jackson just had the franchise tag bestowed upon him by Philadelphia Eagles but that hasn’t stopped his side hustle. As I always say, rappers want to be athletes and athletes want to be rappers. Jackson has his own label (Jaccpot Entertainment) and also will be making a guest appearance on Gillie Da Kid’s new single “On my dip”

The single officially drops March 8th but you can get a sneak peek and check out DeSean’s verse and flow in this behind the scenes video. DeSean’s verse starts around the three minute mark.

Of course this isn’t safe for tender ears or work environments.

Jackson finished last season with 58 catches, 961 yards and four touchdowns. Over his four-year NFL career, he’s averaged 57 receptions, 1,041 yards and six TDs.

That franchise tag will net the 25 year-old  Mr. Jackson a little over $10 million next season but no long term security. Spend wisely Sir, there’s a lot of money required to promote rappers, drop major funds on bottle service at the club and shutting down the Gucci store with Birdman

I bet you thought I was making that last part up! Congratulations
