Derek Fisher’s Estranged Wife Candace Surprised By Divorce Filing

Last month, New York Knicks head coach Derek Fisher announced he was filing for divorce from his wife Candace citing irreconcilable differences after 10 years of marriage.

Candace is now saying she was blindsided by the filing, and that Derek cut off all contact with her. Per TMZ Sports, the Fisher divorce is about to get ugly.

According to the docs, Candace says Derek refused to answer her calls and texts for nearly two weeks … and even blew off their kids for several days.

Candace says she finally went to their NY apartment the week of March 30th … only to find that all of Derek’s clothing, personal items and computers had already been removed from the home.

Candace also revealed that Derek wants their twins to live in New York.

Should Derek really be comfortable thinking he’ll be in New York for a long time? The Knicks are 14-62.
