Once again the Miami Heat are the Eastern Conference Champions. In a game 7 match up, the Heat beat the Indiana Pacers, 99-76. LeBron James scored 32 points, DWade matched his postseason high with 21 points as the Heat cruised to their third finals appearance in three years. But there was also quite a bit of action happening on the sidelines. Pop star Justin Bieber was courtside with “bad influence” Lil Twist. Biebs leather and lip gloss were popping! Recently retired soccer star David Beckham, Bears Julius Peppers and rapper Flo Rida were all courtside as well. AS a matter of fact, Flo Rida’s manager had an outburst and was ejected.
With just over 2 minutes remaining in the Game 7 blowout between the Heat and Pacers, Jeff Pendergraph made sure to put his name on the series in garbage time as he set a screen on Norris Cole and then shoved him out of bounds for no apparent reason. Referee Ken Mauer immediately ejected both players before it escalated any further. That is, until rapper Flo Rida’s manager began trash talking with the Indiana bench from his courtside seat and also received the boot.
