Colts’ special teams backup lineman Josh McNary has been charged with rape, criminal confinement, and battery. McNary has been placed on the league’s commissioner exempt list.
McNary’s attorney released a statement early Thursday morning stating that “unhesitatingly” is denying the allegations. McNary reported to the police Wednesday night.
In the police report released Wednesday, the woman, whose name was redacted, said she told McNary, 26, to stop.
McNary is also a 2011 graduate from West Point and a lieutenant in the Army. He served for two years in the Army prior to joining the Colts in 2013.
