Clippers party at Lure for Chris Paul’s shoe launch [photos]

Saturday night after the Clippers faced off against the Golden State Warriors, the close knit team headed over to Lure in Hollywood for the CP3 VI launch event. The Clippers currently have two high profile Jordan brand athletes in Paul and his teammate, Blake Griffin. DeAndre Jordan, Caron Butler, Lamar Odom and more were on hand for the festivities.

CP3 is known as one of the best dressed NBA players and he didn’t disapoint this evening. Chris sported a checked plaid shirt, black pants, a grey tie and a black quilted pattern leather jacket.

The Jordan CP3.VI is the sixth shoe in the CP3 franchise and Chris Paul’s lightest. The shoe is marketed as being flexible, lightweight and responsive. There’s even the CP3.VI “Nitro Pack” (seen below) that was inspired by the LA underground street racing scene and Paul’s obsession with fast cars. The Nitro Pack was exclusively released in LA two weeks ago but will be available nationwide sometime this month.

The Clippers are TIGHT. You can see the manifestation of that chemistry on the court. And if you haven’t already seen this video — the live frozen moment of how “Chris Paul Cuts Through LA” shot with CP3 doubles in Venice Beach last month for the official release of the CP3.VI, check that out HERE
