Chiefs’ Jovon Belcher with another woman night before murder-suicide

More details are emerging about the night before Chiefs player Jevon Belcher murdered his girlfriend, Kasandra Perkins before killing himself at the Chiefs practice facility. While Perkins attended a Trey Songz concert with friends, Per the New York Post Belcher was alleged to be out with another woman.

After dinner and drinks Friday night at a local tavern, the former Long Island high-school star took the woman, Brittni Glass, to her home, but spent the next several hours asleep in his Bentley outside her building, neighbors said.

After cops roused him from his drunken slumber at about 2:30 a.m., Belcher went inside Glass’ building and re-emerged about four hours later.

Ironically enough, Brittni’s neighbor, also named Brittni tweeted about Belcher being at her apartment, she’s since deleted a few of the tweets but here are two.

In one of the deleted tweets she indicated that it was Belcher that knocked on the door. Belcher asked to be woken up at 6:45 AM for his team meeting and left shortly after. He then took the ten-minute drive to the home he shared with Kasandra Perkins and their three-month old daughter.

Cops said Belcher quarreled with Perkins and shot her nine times as his own mom watched in horror. Perkins’ body was found on a bathroom floor.

Belcher leaned over her in their master bathroom, said he was sorry and kissed her on the forehead.

His mother, who heard gunfire as she stood in the kitchen, rushed to her son’s bedroom and watched his remorseful goodbye.

Belcher apologized to his mother, kissed his 3-month-old daughter and fled his rented home in the 5400 block of Crysler Avenue in his Bentley.

Belcher then drove to the Chiefs’ practice facility at 8 a.m. and shot himself in the head with a different gun in front of the team’s coach and general manager.

Per reports, Belcher and Perkins had been arguing for month over relationship and financial issues. The Chiefs allegedly knew of Belcher’s domestic issues and attempted to get help for him. His mother had recently moved in with the couple to help them through the situation as well.
