Chad Johnson released from Dolphins following alleged domestic violence assault, Evelyn Lozada to press charges

More details are emerging about the altercation that took place between Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson and his wife, Evelyn Lozada Saturday night that resulted in Chad being arrested for domestic violence battery. But the backlash from the incident has already taken effect. The Miami Dolphins released Chad on Sunday.

TMZ obtained the police report but which details, Lozada running to a neighbor for help and Chad driving around the neighborhood searching for her, screaming “I don’t give a f**k. I don’t give a f**k about my career!” Lozada was released from the hospital with a three inch gash on her forehead.

In Chad’s version of the story, Lozada was said to be the aggressor. Johnson claims she headbutted him after arguing over the condom receipt and that he was driving around to cool off.

The report also states that Lozada signed an affidavit stating she plans to press charges. Chad was released on bail early Sunday morning in the amount of $2,500. A restraining order has been issued for Chad to stay away from Evelyn.

No word if this incident will cause VH1 to make a change in plans for the the couple’s reality show debut that’s set air September 3rd.
