Chad Johnson has been officially charged with misdemeanor battery, stemming from the August incident between he and his estranged wife, Evelyn Lozada. Should Chad be convicted, he’ll face a year in jail.
I wonder if Chad is going to attempt to settle without going to trial. He’s expressed several times that he was at fault with the lone exception being the police report where it was noted that Chad indicated Evelyn headbutted him. It would seem that the best move would be to quietly take a deal and pick up the pieces. But this is OCHOCINCO we’re dealing with. Quiet and reserved aren’t things Chad’s usually interested in ::shrug::
