China is one of the biggest consumers of American basketball and it’s NBA stars. So it makes sense that the NBA would partner with a Chinese film company, the Shanghai Film group, to create a basketball-themed movie that stars current and former NBA stars.
Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard and Yi Jianlian, as well as former great Scottie Pippen will appear in “Amazing.” It’s the story of a fictional world known as ‘The Sixth Sense,’ which uses basketball imagery to combine the visual elements of a video game with a movie, akin to the 2010 American science fiction film ‘Tron: Legacy.'”

The president of Shanghai Film Group, Ren Zhonglun; the CEO of NBA China, David Shoemaker; director Sherwood Hu and the cast were present at last night’s publicity news conference.
