Here’s an update to the ongoing saga of the Brett Favre-Jenn Sterger “situation”.
In his meeting with the NFL on Tuesday, Brett Favre confirmed that he did in fact leave voicemail messages for Jenn.
However, he denied that he sent her the infamous “peen” pics. The NFL is waiting for a decision from Jenn as to if she will speak with them. Phil Reese, Jenn’s spokesman, denied claims that her decision will be based on receiving a cash settlement from Favre. “There has been no discussion “of any kind” with Favre’s camp. ::raised eyebrow:: well what else is there to think about?
She hasn’t commented on the allegations, which were posted on the website, Deadspin. The site said Sterger would not agree to an interview and it paid a third party for the texts, voicemails and graphic photos. But again, who just randomly has someone’s texts and voicemails??
Reese also said Favre tried to contact Sterger as recently as last June while he was in New York to appear as a guest on an HBO show. He declined to comment on the details when asked if there were multiple calls, but said Sterger didn’t answer the phone.
Brett’s wife Deanna appeared on Good Morning America promoting her new book, The Cure for the chronic life and had this comment when asked about the scandal , “I’m a woman of faith. Faith has gotten me through many difficult struggles. It will get me through this one.”
Translation, I know who he is and I know what I need to do.
Is it creepy or flattering that Deanna & Jenn bare a striking resemblance??
