Blu Ivy Steals the Show from Beyoncé at MTV’s VMAs [Video]

Beyoncé hit the stage on Sunday night at the Fabulous Forum – yes, I had to take it back to the 80’s with that reference – to perform a medley of every song from her ground breaking video album, “Beyoncé” for the MTV Music awards. It’s Beyonce, so naturally the performance was amazing.

Yoncé really is one of the greatest living entertainers. But she was upstaged last night by her two-year-old daughter Blu. Baby Blu was in her dad’s arms and she was alert AND participating as mommy performed.

Flawless!
She’s clearly really familiar with her mom’s show.
Blu even said “Go mommy” and gave her a round of applause and she and Jay Z presented Bey with her the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

So frequent adorable! And how cute was Blu’s fro with the bow on the side! Bey was the closing act of the night. Her speech was simple.

“I have nothing to say but I’m filled with so much gratitude,” Bey said, holding back tears. “I just thank God for this moment. I love y’all so much.”

“Blu, I love you. My beloved, I love you. My fans, I love you. MTV, I love you. Goodnight!”

The Carters, ladies and gentlemen.
