Nike is always on the cutting edge of innovation for sporting apparel and footwear. I had the opportunity to check out their new shoe, the “Hyperdunk+ lunar,” and view the technology up close. The shoe measures your vertical, speed and hustle via your iPhone.
Nike was shooting a spot with Sprite Slam Dunk Champion, “Young Hollywood,” Haneef Munir, for their “Game on World” Dunk contest happening in LA on Friday.
The app will even record your dunk and show your ascension levels before clocking your vertical.
yung hollywood’s best was a 45. There where whispers that the highest any NBA player got was a 42. YES, that is the sky you see up there. Super Gym in West LA is SICK; three-stories high and the roof peels back so ballers can literally kiss the sky.
Yeah, I was with him when he was shooting in the gym…
If you’re free, hit up LA Live on Friday, June 22nd at 3:30 for the Dunk contest. I’ll be there too. Say hi if you spot me!
