The Make A Wish foundation and the city of San Francisco, Ca. gave Miles Scott a day where he could be Batkid and save the city of Gotham from the Riddler and Penguin.Miles is 5-years old, he was diagnosed with leukemia at 18 months, but has recently ended treatments and is remission.
With the assistance of approximately 7,000 people, including police officers and local residents, San Francisco was transformed into Gotham City while Batman and Batkid saved the city from peril by freeing a woman from cable-car tracks, capturing the Riddler as he robbed a downtown bank and finally foiling the Penguin at AT&T Stadium. Even President Obama gave Miles a shout out on Twitter.
