Basketball Wives Star Draya Michelle On Why She Doesn’t Care That Imani Called Her “Worthless”

Basketball Wives LA season 1 was divided into two halves. The first half was all about Draya. While the second was the Jackie Christie show. Draya gave an interview recently where she discussed why Imani Showalter calling her worthless doesn’t bother her anymore.

I don’t want to dwell on one storyline, but like, the worthless thing; does that still stick with you at all?

No, only because like…as soon as Imani called me worthless, her dirt hit the blogs because people were like, “How dare she?” You know, everybody has their own stuff, mine just surfaced. Luckily for them, no one even cares enough about them to even put their dirt out. But I mean, it happens. Everybody has dirt, so coming from her I was just like, it’s the pot calling the kettle black.

Did it affect your relationship with her? Is it strained even now?

You know, she was one of the people I was most shocked at because in the beginning, I really liked her.

“nobody cares about them to put their dirt out.”  Draya is hilarious but, I think she’s let her new found “fame” go to her head. They’re all on the same reality show so their relevance is pretty equal in my eyes. Draya has the advantage of being viewed more as a “sex kitten” so some of the interest is for other things but, such is the nature of reality tv, right?

I’ll be interested to see who will return for a second season
