Basketball Wives season 4 Reunion filming [photos]

Basketball Wives season 4 shot their reunion on Saturday in L.A. Clues are leaking that there were some explosive moments but necessarily any violent ones. A petition has been circulating for weeks calling for a boycott of the show as well as the spinoff, “Ev & Ocho” which follows the couple as they head into wedded bliss.

Shaunie took a moment to address the bullying/violence issue once again along with accompany statements from VH1 and Shed media (the producers of the show).

Seems as if this time the message was received but the trick to this. Will the producers in season 5 (or season 2 of LA) be able to put together a show that’s compelling without the physical drama? We’ll see. In the meantime, Jennifer wore Valentino (also spotted on Tyson Chandler’s wife at the Met Gala)

Hot! Jenn’s style game is always high.

Eveyln wore a custom designed, Jason Sky look

Shaunie looked great in a pink and black suit by Emilio Pucci, shoes by Giuseppe Zanottii, blouse by Thomas Wylde & earrings by Vanessa Leu. LOVE this look.

and Royce continues to step up her fashion selections. We’ll see how it shows up on camera.

John Salley is back on board with hosting duties. Check out VH1’s and Shed Media’s statements on the direction of the show going forward.

From Shed:

“Shed Media US is fully committed to telling the compelling stories of the Basketball Wives in a balanced way. Our producing partner Shaunie O’Neal feels strongly about this, and we fully agree with this stance. We support her as she encourages the cast members to work out issues in a non-violent fashion. We look forward to working with her and the rest of the cast on conveying more balance in the next season.”

VH1 also weighs in, saying:

“Our viewers opinions always matter a great deal to us at VH1. Lately, there has been a lot of conversation about Basketball Wives, a series featuring strong, intelligent women with very passionate viewpoints which can sometimes escalate.

We at VH1 agree with and support Shaunie and the show producers’ “no excessive physical confrontations” policy on the series moving forward. We are all committed to balancing the candid, bold excitement that the viewers have come to love in the series with storylines and representations they can be proud of. Shaunie has been a strong advocate for a more balanced approach to the show and we, along with our producing partners at Shed Media, are all in agreement about moving forward with that goal.”
