“Basketball Wives Miami” season 5 teaser [video]

Remember the one that started all the hype, “Basketball Wives Miami?” Well season five is back and kicks off August 19th. Shooting for this season ended in late February/Early March with a smaller cast than in previous seasons. Shaunie O’Neal is back with Evelyn Lozada, Tami Roman, Suzie Ketchum and new comer, Tasha Marbury (wife of former NBA All-Star, Stephon Marbury.)

Vh1 dropped a teaser on Sunday that sent Evelyn and Shaunie into a Twitter tizzy. In the scene, Suzie and Tasha are discussing Evelyn dating again. Tasha makes a joke about Evelyn’s altercation with Chad, Suzie laughs and that’s where the “fun” begins.

I guess that’s one way to get people interested in season 5.

 This time around, “Basketball Wives” double dribbles both excitement and surprises, beginning with Evelyn Lozada’s first attempts at extinguishing the media flames surrounding the altercation with her now ex-husband. Back this season with their own passions and ambitions are Tami Roman, Suzie Ketcham and Shaunie O’Neal. New to the scene this season is Evelyn’s friend Tasha Marbury whose scandalous marriage of seventeen years to Stephon Marbury of the Beijing Ducks has the rest of the girls whispering. Season five also witnesses the return of a notorious wife from seasons past, a confrontation with a woman whose alleged relationship with a player puts one of the wives in an uncomfortable position, and another unforgettable turmoil-filled girls’ trip to London.
