Basketball Wives Miami cast wants a raise

Could Evelyn, Shaunie, Tami and Suzie be readying a high powered coup or is TMZ sipping the kool-Aid to promote season 5 of Basketball Wives Miami. The ladies have recently started filming in LA but could be planning a walk out if their salaries aren’t upped. The original “circle” allegedly doesn’t have locked contracts for this season and are renegotiating while filming.

The network has had quite a bit of success with the “Love & Hip-hop” franchise. Basketball Wives LA ratings have dipped and as much as people are against the bullying, will they tune in just to see the ladies lunch or whatever? I think it’s time for this franchise to do something else. Realistically, active NBA players aren’t going to be open to having their significant others in either cast. And since the network doesn’t seem to be open to bringing in cast members in other ways – wait, they can bring in more groupies and one-nighters, that’s always fun- but you have to wonder how much longer the show can go on.
