Basketball Wives LA Season 4 Preview: New cast members + the return of Shaunie and Tami

The fourth season of “Basketball Wives LA” will return to VH1 in March. This season’s cast has three new faces, plus at least two former “Basketball Wives” making their return to the franchise.

Draya, Malayisa Pargo, Brandi Maxiell and Jackie Christie will be back. Malaysia divorced her husband Jannero last year. Allegedly there was cheating involved. Jannero recently announced that he has a new daughter.

Sundy Carter – who most of us remember getting clocked in the eye in season 3 – won’t be back.

Neither will “overseas basketball wife” Brittish Williams. Her storyline was boring anyway- plus she almost swiped Draya’s “Mint Swim” trademark, which reportedly didn’t sit well with the shows producers.

Joining the cast:

Former NBA player Eddy Curry’s wife Patrice. Eddy spent time with the Bulls and Knicks in addition to brief stints in Dallas and Miami.

Right now, there’s no scandal attached to Patrice. In 2009 tragedy rocked the Currys when Eddy’s ex, Nova and their 9-month-old daughter Ava were murdered in Chicago. Nova’s attorney was charged and convicted. Eddy and Patrice took custody of Eddy and Nova’s son, Noah, who escaped harm in the attack.

Mehgan James joins the cast. This isn’t Mehgan’s first time at the rodeo. She also appeared on “Bad Girls Club,” where she was known to be quick to throw blows if she felt her castmates were stepping out of line. Mehgan is dropping an underwear line named “Fresh Pear.”

Mehgan’s link to the show is that she once dated Quincy Miller. Miller was drafted to the Nuggets in 2012. The Nuggets waived him during training camp last October. This season, he’s spent time in the D League, and  recently signed a 10-day contract with the Pistons. Quincy is currently dating Instagram fitness model Aaleeyah Petty.

Not to worry though, Mehgan has a new boo also. College football player DeAndre Perry.

Also rumored to be joining the cast, Angel Brinks. Angel is a “designer” – you can thank her for some of your favorite Instagram boutique inspirations – and has a daughter with New Orleans Pelicans point guard Tyreke Evans. Angel also used to hang with Draya.

Are you ready to see some original “Basketball Wives” on the scene?

Executive producer Shaunie O’Neal, and Tami Roman will also be making appearances this season. The rumor is that Evelyn might make a cameo also.
**UPDATE**
I guess Ev said no.
