Basketball Wives Drama- Royce Reed Calls The Cops on Dwight Howard

For Royce & Dwight’s son to only be 2, it seems as if their relationship (which came to public attention when Royce had their son) and the ongoing custody battle has been in the news FOREVER!

The latest drama involved Dwight picking up their son from daycare on August 26th. TMZ (they know EVERYTHING)

provided the details:

Howard went to pick up their 2-year-old son. Reed, we’re told, flipped out and called the cops because she claimed the custody agreement didn’t give Howard the right to pick the child up that day.

Reed showed up at the day care center for a showdown, but Howard had already left with the kid.

The cops called Howard … and the NBA star explained he and his ex made a new agreement … giving him the right to cart his kid away that day. But … after speaking with lawyers from both sides, the cops handed down their verdict — a new custody agreement was discussed but never signed.

The cops ordered Howard to return the child to the day care center, stat. Howard’s nanny — the Henry Kissinger character — took the boy back to school and Reed took him home.


Royce is currently filming season 2 of Basketball Wives. This would’ve been EXTRA juicy if it made the show but as we learned last year, Dwight got an injunction so that his name or likeness isn’t allowed to be mentioned on the show. Their son Braylon is also not allowed to be shown either. Oh well Royce has a new man in her life that WILL be featured on the upcoming season and word is that Jennifer has a few paternity issues of her own that might make the airwaves.

Oh yeah, the show is an hour this time out!
