Basketball players aren’t the only athletes on the court in an arena during NBA games. Dance teams also provide entertainment during the games mixing dance skills and eye candy to keep the crow hyped during timeouts and lulls in the game. An Atlanta Hawks cheerleader was injured and had to leave the arena via stretcher during Monday night’s Hawks game at Philips Arena. The cheerleader fell during a routine and hit her head on the court.
According to Atlanta Journal-Constitution:
Cheerleader Kristen, whose last name was not released, was taken by paramedics to Atlanta Medical Center. She was released Monday night following examination by physicians, according to the team.
