49’ers Michael Crabtree won’t be charged in alleged sexual assault

49’ers Michael Crabtree will not be charged in a sexual assault investigation stemming from an alleged incident that occurred following the Niners win over the Green Bay Packers.

San Francisco PD has released a statement:

“The San Francisco Police Department – Special Victims Unit completed and submitted a thorough investigation of the allegations against Michael Crabtree. Following a review of all the evidence, my office has determined that no charges will be filed against Michael Crabtree at this time.”

The 49’ers were confident charges wouldn’t be filed and also released a brief statement:

“We are pleased to learn of the San Francisco District Attorney’s announcement following a thorough review of the matter. Michael and the team can now put this behind us and move forward.”

Back in the day, we probably wouldn’t have heard anything about this.
