42 Year Old NFL Cheerleader

At 42 years old, Laura Vikmanis is the oldest cheerleader in the NFL. A member of the Bengals cheer squad, the Ben-Gals (I had a bengay joke but look at her abs why bother).  Laura first tried out for the team when she was 39.  She didn’t make the team so she regrouped came back and the rest is history!

Laura is a native of Springboro, Ohio, and she works as a registered dietitian and personal trainer.  Laura also has ties to Southern California, she attended college at Cal State Long Beach, where she earned her degree in Dietetics and Food Administration.

Although Laura is about 20 years older than the majority of her fellow squad mates, Laura said she wanted to show her two daughters that if you put the effort in, you can achieve anything.

My dreams of one day being a Laker Girl or a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader still might happen!! ::giggles:: Salute to Laura
