2016 Guide To Wives and Girlfriends of the NBA Finals

The 2016 NBA Finals are under way. For the second year in a row, The Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors are battling for the championship. Cleveland Cavaliers

LeBron James and his wife of three years, Savannah Brinson, are high school sweethearts. The two have been together 13 years and met while King James was playing for St. Vincent-St. Mary’s High School in Akron, Ohio. The couple have three children LeBron “Bronie” Jr (11), Bryce (8) and daughter Zhuri will turn two in October.

Kyrie Irving’s status is currently unknown. Earlier this season, he was dating singer Kehlani. That situation got tricky when Kehlani’s ex-rapper Party Next Door – posted a photo to Instagram of the two in bed together. Kyrie was rumored to recently be hanging out with his ex, model Chantel Jefferies, but that’s unconfirmed.

Guard Iman Shumpert is engaged to singer and actress Teyana Taylor. The two share a seven-month-old daughter, Iman Tayla Jr. Iman actually delivered his daughter – affectionately known as “Junie” – last December.  

Forward Tristian Thompson and Jordan Craig are still dating.  Jordan previously dated former NBA star Baron Davis and rapper Tyga.

JR Smith traded in his bachelor status to become a family man. In August 2015, we gave you the scoop that JR married the mother of his seven-year-old daughter Demi, Jewel Harris. Last season JR was still dating his ex-, Ashley Weatherspoon.

James Jones and wife Destiny have three children together.

Timofey Mozgov and Alla Mozgov  got married over an all-star weekend in Vegas in 2011 when he ordered a limo to take the road trip from Denver.

Guard Mo Williams married his wife Keisha, in 2008. The couple have three sons and they now have three young boys. In April 2016 Keisha opened “Swanky & Chic” a home decor store in Dallas, TX.

Dahntay Jones is married to Valeisha Butterfield. Valeisha is a youth activist and lifestyle expert. her parents are involved in politics. She is the daughter of US Congressman GK Butterfield and North Carolina Legislator Jean Farmer Butterfield. Valeisha is the head of black community engagement at Google and the CEO of Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network. She also used to date rapper The Game.

Matthew Dellavedova and his girlfriend, Anna Schroeder met in college while both were attending St Mary’s College of California.

Channing Frye and his wife, Lauren Lisoski met through mutual friends in Portland, Oregon. They married in 2009 and have a son named Hendrix.

Golden State Warriors

Stephen Curry‘s wife Ayesha is the current “It” NBA WAG. Ayesha, her mother-in-law Sonya and the couples’ two daughters – 3-year old Riley and almost one-year-old Ryan – have been JSJ favorites since 2011. Steph and Ayesha met at bible camp when they were 15. They later reconnected in LA years later. Ayesha has become the “standard,” often the subject of Twitter memes comparing her approach to life with that of varied Instagram vixens and social media popular chicks. Ayesha recently hosted a pop up BBQ spot and will be releasing a cook book later this year.

Harrison Barnes is dating Brittany Johnson

Andre Iguodala married his wife Christina in the summer of 2015 in Mexico. The two have one son together.

Klay Thompson is currently LIVING. His current dating status is under wraps. But rest assured, light skin is back and flourishing.

James Michael McAdoo met his wife, Lauren, while attending University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Lauren played on the volleyball team. The couple married in 2014.

Draymond Green is reportedly dating his college sweetheart Jelissa K. Hardy.  Jelissa attended Michigan State University with Draymond, where she earned a degree in English.

Brandon Rush has two sons with girlfriend Ashlee Parker. The two are expected to marry this year.

Anderson Varejao wed his wife, Marcelle, in 2013. The couple dated for three years before being married in Rio de Janeiro

Shaun Livingston is dating photographer Joey Williams.

Leandro Barbosa, is married to Brazilian actress Samara Felippo. The couple has been married since 2008 and has one daughter.
