Lamar Odom’s Daughter Destiny Says Toxic Relationship With Khloé Kardashian Caused Strain

Lamar Odom‘s battle with addiction was chronicled on reality TV, but there was one viewpoint that wasn’t covered on E!‘s Keeping Up With The Kardashians, his children’s. Lamar’s oldest daughter Destiny gave an interview where she blamed Odom’s toxic relationship with his ex-wife Khloé Kardashian for their one-time strained relationship.

In an interview, Destiny discussed watching the E! reality star as a 12-year-old and the confusion that came along with her father dating a reality star. She says Lamar wasn’t honest about his addiction. She would ask him questions about the rumors she saw on blogs.

“Headlines, they’re crazy, and I just remember thinking, is this true?”

She went on to explain how their conversations went.

…he was in denial about it when things first came up. He said, these things aren’t true. I wanted to believe him.

Destiny also said that Lamar’s addictive personality was attract to all the attention he received from dating and marrying a Kardashian.

“I wouldn’t say it was a matter of my dad loves Khloe more than me. I think that my dad has an addictive personality so my dad was addicted to the attention he got with Khloe,”

Destiny goes on to discuss how they are working their way back into a relationship. You can read the entire interview with People .
