What’s Beef? Bears Brandon Marshall & NFL analyst Warren Sapp have an issue [video]

Warren Sapp is NEVER shy about stating his opinion. The analyst recently referred to Bears receiver Brandon Marshall in a radio interview so Marshall took to Twitter (where else) to give a retort via video:

“I got a really disturbing heads-up on something Warren Sapp said, called me retarded. That’s really disappointing to hear that from an NFL legend, but I’m going to take this as a lesson, and I think we all can learn from this, be very careful who you take advice from. You want to surround yourself with good people, godly people. When I look at Warren Sapp, I can’t go to him and talk about finances because he filed for bankruptcy. I can’t go to him and talk about my marriage because he filed for divorce. I can’t go to him and talk about being a father because one day I’m going to have children because he’s not active in his children’s life.”

But the story doesn’t end there, Marshall followed up stating that Sapp e-mailed him after his video wanting to “fight.”

Does Sapp not remember that he has a job? Isn’t this the same sort of thing that caused his contract not to be renewed with Showtimes “Inside the NFL?” I’m not saying he’s wrong to critique Marshall but you have to know there are certain words that are on the “no-no” list.
