It’s hard being the starting QB on “America’s Team” when you’re losing. Such is the fate of Dallas Cowboys Tony Romo. The quarterback takes a lot of heat (sometimes justified) but showed how true he is to the game of football in Sunday’s match up against the San Francisco 49’ers. Romo suffered a fractured rib and a punctured lung in the first half of the game when he was hit from behind by cornerback Carlos Rogers.
The Cowboys went on to win the game and Romo completed 12 of 15 passes. He’s expected to play in the Cowboys next game on Monday Night Football.
