No NFL team has made moves to pick up free agent Terrell Owens. T.O. believes that he can bring value to a team heading into the playoffs. But now, it looks as if the team he could be helping is actually in the Indoor Football League.
I have no clue where this league exists but the money, between $250,000 and $500,000 plus an ownership stake in the team, sounds very real. In light of the recent revelations about Terrell’s money problems, can he really say no?
Check out the details:
In theory, it showcases T.O. to NFL teams for next season (yes another year older) and also puts a nice amount of coin into his pockets. Of course, I am of the theory that the physical aspect of Terrell isn’t what the concern is for many NFL teams.
Terrell also recently took to Twitter to campaign for a spot with his first team, the 49’ers. They have an opening after the waiving of Braylon Edwards.
Donte Whitner and T.O. were teammates in Buffalo.
