Today is NFL media day for the Super Bowl. Players and coaches are required to attend. or be fined. Seahawks rb Marshawn Lynch has no love for this scenario. Lynch rarely speaks to the media and when he does, he makes it a point to keep it brief.
Lynch took the podium for a mere six minutes, but after his session, the NFL Network’s Deion Sanders caught up with “BeastMode” and attempted to get him to open up a bit. From the gate, you knew this would be a different sort of interview when Lynch dropped an S-bomb by accident to get it started.
“I’m just bout that action, boss,” he said. “That’s what it is. I’ve been like that since I was little. I was raised like that. Come Sunday we gonna get it. Ain’t no need to talk about it.”
Sanders also pointed out that Lynch doesn’t like podiums, He replied, “Na, that ain’t my thing.” So what is Beast Mode’s thing?
“Laid back, kicked back,” he said. “Mind my business. Stay in my own lane.”
TOWN BIZ! Shout out to Oakland
He also had Skittles in hand. Lynch’s endorsement deal with the candy brand was announced today.
