Two years ago, the Miami Dolphins organization was rocked stemming from a bullying scandal involving offensive linemen Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin.
Incognito was suspended and subsequently released from the team in 2013. Since then, he’s been waiting for an opportunity to return to the gridiron. He checked in with various NFL teams, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Denver Broncos, but nobody took the bait.
The Buffalo Bills are changing things up for the forthcoming 2015 season. In addition to a new head coach in Rex Ryan, the team announced that they have agreed in principle to a one-year deal with Incognito.
Rex Ryan called the signing a “high priority addition.”
