Ravens receiver Torrey Smith played Sunday Night’s game against the Patriots a little over 12 hours after finding out his younger brother Tevin was killed in a motorcycle crash.
Running on adrenaline and emotion, Smith left it all out on the field having a monster game which included 6 receptions for 127 yards and 2 touchdowns. His second sealed the game for the Ravens. Following his first touchdown of the game, a Ravens PR person could be sen running into the endzone to grab the ball. It was for Smith, he plans to place that ball in his brother’s coffin to honor him.
Following the game Smith spoke to the media. Sending love and light to the receiver and his family.
Tevin would’ve turned 20 on October 6th.
