Ravens’ Steve Smith scores 2 TD’s in 1st half against his old Panthers team [video]

Whenever an athlete moves on from one team to the next, no matter the reason, when he returns to face off against his old team, he wants to have a statement game. During the offseason, the Carolina Panthers released wide receiver Steve Smith.

Smith was picked up by Panthers and he’s showing out in his return to Carolina. In the first half, Smith has 122 yards on five catches and the two touchdowns.

“From what I understand, Cam Newton was a big source of frustration for Steve Smith. In fact, Smith told close friends he doesn’t believe Cam Newton sees the field at all, specifically in the red zone. What Steve Smith told friends is that Cam Newton doesn’t think fast enough or isn’t precise enough to succeed in the red zone.”
