It can be very frustrating and annoying, especially when certain athletes work just as hard as any other, but still don’t get the attention or recognition they deserve. There’s no greater example of this than the NFL. Who are some of the most underrated NFL players of the 2015 season? Read on to find out!
Ryan Tannehill, of the Miami Dolphins, finished the 2014 season in the top ten for fantasy quarterbacks—an impressive feat, to say the least. But even though his numbers have gotten better and better with each play, he’s, failed to reach the post season once.
Despite that, he came in fifth in the completion percentage, and his ratings as a passer have significantly risen. Many say that Tannehill has the talent to become one of the greats but time will tell.
Eric Decker, who plays for the New York Jets, is also one of the most underrated players in the NFL. Although many Jets fans recognize his face, most would classify him as nothing more than an average receiver who only got famous because of Peyton Manning of the Denver Broncos. Manning is believed to have helped Decker’s career as a football player, but Decker has insisted that he is not a product of Manning, and that they are no more than friends.
Decker has made himself a name in the game’s elite No. 2 wideouts. He has also scored more touchdowns during the last three seasons than Calvin Johnson of the Detroit Lions.
Teddy Bridgewater of the Minnesota Vikings has also gained the bad luck of being considered one of the most underrated players. In the last season he played, Bridgewater had a score of an 85.2 passer-rate in all of the thirteen games he participated in. He just has to better his touchdown interception ratio.
So, there you have it: Some of the NFL’s most underrated players of the 2015 season. Despite this, don’t be so quick to count them out for good. These are all talented players. With the right luck and more focus, they could become the most talked about stars for years to come!
