Patrick Willis says it’s the Niners destiny to make it to the Superbowl

I had the opportunity to interview 49’ers linebacker Patrick Willis as a part of the Duracell “Trust your Power campaign”.  The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness about Duracell’s ProCamps scholarships.

I asked Patrick what he felt the one thing was that was standing in the way of the 49’ers reaching the Superbowl this season.

“the only thing stopping us is ourselves. We have the talent, It’s our destiny to be there. We have the coach it’s just us in that locker room. That’s it”

Will we see the Niners in New Orleans on February 3, 2013. I guess we’ll know shortly.

Because the tag line for the site is “ESPN meets Sex & the City,” I asked Patrick which “Sex & The City” character he could be compared with. Patrick wasn’t riding with me on that one but he instead offered up an answer for which lady he would date. Samantha and Charlotte were the answers. He loves that Charlotte is demure and lady like.

Use that as a clue ladies. Although Patrick was recently engaged, things have changed and he’s now single. I just gave you the game plan!

To activate a $1 donation to the Duracell “Trust your power” campaign which will help send 1000 children from across the country to procamps, simply tweet this interview with the #Trustyourpower hashtag! Check out Patrick’s back story.
