The Atlanta Falcons continue to shore up their roster after losing to the Niners in the playoffs being just minutes from heading to the Superbowl. After 10 seasons, two Super Bowl titles and two Pro Bowls as a member of the New York Giants, Osi Umenyiora heads south and won’t even have to spring for new digs.
The defensive end has come to terms with the Atlanta Falcons, signing a two year deal worth a reported $8.5 million. With possible incentives that can bring the contacts worth to $12.5 million. In year one, Umenyiora is expected to receive $5 million. Osi recently told “USAToday” that his goal for the upcoming season is to win “Defensive Player of the Year.”
