NFL Wild Card Weekend schedule and Predictions

Are you ready for the NFL playoffs? Wild Card weekend kicks off today! That means four games with what we hope will be intense match ups! This season I finally stepped up my commitment to a team… then they decide to go against the grain and have all types of internal conflict – 49’ers – so I have no dog in the fight. Just a need for highly entertaining match ups. Check the schedule below, along with my predictions!

Saturday, Jan. 3

Arizona Cardinals (11-5) at Carolina Panthers (7-8-1)
Time: 4:35 PM ET/ 1:35 PM PST
TV: ESPN

The Arizona Cardinals got hot early in the season but cooled down after losing their starting QB, Drew Stanton to injury. The Cardinals are a scrappy bunch, but this one will belong to the Panthers. Plus I want to see Cam Newton in the playoffs.

Baltimore Ravens (10-6) at Pittsburgh Steelers (11-5)
Time: 8:15 PM ET/ 5:15 PM PST
TV: NBC

The Steelers are without second-year running back Le’Veon Bell – out with a strained knee. That gives the Ravens a better shot. But Ben Roethlisberger has plenty of targets to hit to substitute for the run game being down. I give the slight edge to the Steelers.

Sunday, Jan. 4

Cincinnati Bengals (10-5-1) at Indianapolis Colts (11-5)
Time: 1:05 PM ET/ 10:05 AM PST
TV: CBS

Colts QB Andrew Luck uses jedi mind tricks on other teams. He compliments opposing players, lulling them into submission, and then he turns it on. I’m rolling with the Colts.

Detroit Lions (11-5) at Dallas Cowboys (12-4)
Time: 4:40 PM ET/ 1:40 PM PST
TV: FOX

I LOVE to troll Dallas Cowboys fans, cause its fun, but this season there hasn’t been too much fun on the troll side of things because Dem Boyz have actually been pretty good this season. Plus, how epic would it be to see the Cowboys back in the Super Bowl? The Lions got a break when Suh’s suspension was repealed, but I think its time for “America’s team” to reclaim their crown.
